International Entrepreneurship
This course examines international entrepreneurship, which has been defined as a combination of innovative, proactive and risk-taking behaviors that cross national borders and are intended to create value in organizations.
Key topics to be examined include:
Entrepreneurial characteristics and motivations;
Comparative differences in national cultures, including regulatory, cognitive, and normative dimensions;
Various approaches to market entry, including exporting, cooperative alliances, and new ventures;
Negotiation skills and tactics; and Internationalization of entrepreneurial activity.
